i think it's really interesting how people dream and there's a hidden meaning in the dream. i've found many interpretations of events or objects that show up in the dream on www.dreammoods.com. for example, you dream that you're falling and scared; it means there's a lack of control, insecurity, or there's a lack of support in your life. it can also symbolize a great struggle or failure. i think feelings play a big role in dreams. i think the importance of dreams is to help you realize something or so that you can express something something personal.

i think santiago was wise to follow his dream because he was curious and he gained so much knowlegde trying to follow this dream. i probably wouldn't follow a dream that i have because i usually don't remember them. and if i do remember my dream, i would just shake it off and say "oh that was weird" or "haha interesting.."

i don't think dream interpretation is all true because nobody knows exactly why we dream. but i think that most interpretations at least make some sense. and i'm pretty sure that whoever translates dreams don't just do it randomly. they probably put a lot of thought into what might cause things in a dream to happen and connect this to what's happening in the person's life.
