romeo & juliet: first impression

i think that romeo & juliet is much more like modern-day life than i thought. the two guys in the beginning talk about girls and fighting & being tough. guys today also talk about girls & being tougher than one another. but the way they talk is way different than now. i think shakespearean language is hard to understand, but fun to learn about. i like how there's more than one meaning in what the characters say, it's pretty clever. i think shakespeare's language has it's own way of entertaining.
